BATIK!!!!!

Hi,this is Sheila.. At last..I have an idea what to write in this blog. After a lot of thinking,I've decided to share one of the fun things that I did on the day the Labs Interval was held. Last friday on january 30th Labs Interval was held, it was actually fun but at twelve o'clock we had to take a break so all of the boys can do their friday prayings,during that time I was bored to death because I don't have anything to do. But then I saw some people doing something interesting, it made me curious then I realized that they were making batik patterns on the top of a white cloth. I jumped in right away because I wanted to know what it feels like to make a batik since I've never done it. Nadia and Anggi also tried it too, it's way more fun having them around.


So when I just started it was quite easy,all we have to do is to move the canting according to the pencil lines, but after a while suddenly a big splash of ink fell into the cloth and ruined the patterns. It happened more than once, it was quite frustrating,making batik is not as easy as I thought it would be..I hate the fact that there were so many splashes of ink in my batik patterns,but after a while I get used to the situation,and even three tiny splashes of ink fell into my skirt.Then finally our batiks are done, Anggi's batik was stunning, Nadia's batik was also great,guess what.. My batik was a mess,there were a lot splashes of ink on it but shockingly, I'm pretty proud of it.. That was a fun experience, I recommend all of you to try it.. By the way I wonder when can I have my batik ???
